Mikaela is an artist and print designer based in Stockholm, where she lives with her family. Her art is inspired by her love of color combinations, flowers, and playful shapes. Her work often features vases, botanicals, and elements drawn from nature and the sea.

Mikaela finds her biggest inspiration in summer and in the warmth, the light, and the feeling of freedom it brings.

The name Maij is a loving tribute to her little sister Maja, but also to the early arrival of summer and sunshine.
